As the nights get cooler and days get a bit shorter, I have heard many different reactions.
"I'm Not ready for the fall."
"I am so excited for the fall!"
"Summer went too quickly."
I am one of those who does enjoy the change in season, I look forward to fall. Leaves change, time to break out the sweaters and boots, yummy soup in the dutch oven, apple picking, crucnchy leaves under your feet as you walk and of course my wedding anniversary...:) - These are a few of the things I enjoy most. What I DO NOT enjoy is the thought that winter comes after fall...I dread that season, but for now will look forward to that first falling red leaf.
What do you love/hate about the change of seasons? Particularly, summer into fall?

I'm going to come out and say it: I hate summer. Summer stinks. Heat? Bugs? Sunscreen. Meh.
Give me the cool temperate breezes of spring and fall. Let me cook in the kitchen with the window open, and not fret that I'm heating up the house.
I am very glad to see summer fade to fall. But as far as summers go, this was a pretty good one. Not too hot. Plenty of rain.
Sure, I'm an outlier, but I can live with that.
D - you are too funny! I know plenty of folks who can't stand the heat - and they too love when summer ends - this is why a change of seasons is great - everyone gets thier turn at some weather they can enjoy...:)
