Time Passages

Happy chilly Monday y'all.

Today is my one year anniversary. Yup - a whole year has passed since S and I stood on the alter and spoke our vows. It hardly seems possible that so much time has passed since that wonderful day. I remember parts of the day as if it were yesterday - and yet some memories are vague - as if I am looking at them thru a filtered lens.

A funny part about the day I do remember is the fact that my mom had to call and wake me. I was sleeping so very well, n fact, I hadn't slept that well in weeks. I suppose my sleep was so restful because I had finally relaxed - all the planning stress was behind me and I had a quiet calm feeling in my heart, the knowledge that I was doing the right thing, that I was to marry the love of my life.

The day itself was fun, I can honestly say, I had SO MUCH FUN! I loved being dressed up like a princess and being with all my friends and loved ones, well the ones that could physically be there.
So today we celebrate one year down and I hope many many more to come. :)

The Dip - our first dance was Fly Me to the Moon - and guess what - there was a full moon that night! It could not have been more perfect.
